TFW supports cleft lip and palate programs in developping countries by providing funds for medical supplies, transportation of patients and medical personnel and training for local cleft specialists.

- TFW was founded in 1999 and has projects in Peru, Argentina, Ghana, India, Nepal and Thailand.

- Over 5 years, TFW has provided 47,000 interventions in reconstructive surgery and rehabilitation to over 3,700 patients worldwide.

- TFW supports surgery as well as rehabilitation services such as speech and hearing therapy, orthodontics, nutritional and feeding support and psychological counseling.

- TFW supports health care teams in developing countries. We support local teams who can provide quality care, by providing training, equipment, supplies and other resources needed to carry out free or subsidized treatment.

- TFW promotes South-South cooperation. We support the exchange of best practices, knowledge, and skills between specialists in developing countries.
